Going to start a wee gallery on my blog called 'view from the bench'. This'll be one of the first images.

Working on my website and trawling through old photos. There are some belters. This was a fabulous sunset from Goatfell. #Arran
Double beach day for Nuis! Day off together at last, so Wally & I headed to Blackwaterfoot for baked goods & a beach walk. Then we went to Kildonan to go bouldering, but I forgot to check the tides, so instead, we had picnic number 2 with the bouldering mat for a comfy armchair.

Fabulous colours in Glen Rosa this morning with two clients. The wildlife was mostly a bit shy with all the squally weather (quite right too) but the frogs don't care and have definitely been "at it".

Machrie Moor Standing Stones on the Isle of Arran, Scotland. These historic ruins date back to the Neolithic and early Bronze Age periods, approximately 3500 to 1500 BC.

Glorious morning to do beach and dig holes. First sounds of wooing eiders in the bay. #Arran #SpringIsComing #Beach
I'm heading back home to Seil tomorrow; I'll miss this view, but I dare say there'll be a few good sunsets over the Firth of Lorn...
Windy walk today on Arran, along the king's caves.
One of the caves is full of cairns, it's like they are attending a busy meeting
It was cold and windy but really nice
After sunset: first, the waxing crescent moon and Venus; then a few minutes later, Saturn becomes visible between them.
Custom paintwork on my car this morning, courtesy of Jack Frost.
Porta Buidhe (Yellow Port), Kildonan.
The car park is, not surprisingly, empty...
#Lochranza #Castle on #Arran is an exuberant mix of colours and textures. The stones are mostly green and purplish Dalradian rocks, with pale red Permian #sandstone tarting up the door and window frames, along with random bursts of colour elsewhere, as if the builders were playing.

Looking across the Kilbrannan Sound to the Kintyre Peninsula from the peaceful and picturesque settlement of Pirnmill on the Isle of Arran. More pics and info: https://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/arran/pirnmill/index.html
