Paper Faces - The Human Psyche: PARANOIA
FACES. We all have them. They fascinate me. Expressions in particular - from subtle to extreme.
OLD PAPER. These too share qualities of human expression. From long ago handwritten notes, aged newspapers and maps to worn paper stained with time. In this series of prints, I combine them to create whimsical "stories" about the nature of being human.

Hi, you lovelies! I just sent off my folio for the Bologna Book Fair after finishing this last drawing. I'm sooo tired now, and today I feel really drained.

Nonetheless, these little guys, who live in thistles, having an early morning coffee and a chat, cheered me up, so I wanted to share them with you. Maybe they will make you smile too. Wishing you a lovely almost-weekend!

Monster in a Teacup
Humans aren't the only ones who enjoy a spot of tea now and again. Little monsters have been know to slip quietly into kitchens when no one is around and sneak a sip of two of freshly brewed sweetness. Alas, some of these tiny creatures may become so enamored with the tea, that they sip themselves silly and fall into a state of euphoria, causing all manner of behavior.

Monster in a Teacup Humans aren't the only ones who enjoy a spot of tea now and again. Little monsters have been know to slip quietly into kitchens when no one is around and sneak a sip of two of freshly brewed sweetness. Alas, some of these tiny creatures may become so enamored with the tea, that they sip themselves silly and fall into a state of euphoria, causing all manner of behavior. Against at wallpapered background of pale green, blue and pink flowers, sits a china teacup. Its occupant is a small blue, tapir-like creature glancing nervously at the viewer.
