This Is My GlasgowOne of the great things about living in Glasgow is how close you are to some truly wild places, and with the promise of a rather wonderful sunny Spring day ahead, this morning I got up early and headed out of the city. The Wee Owl Art🔴One of my old charcoal drawings. Birds flying over St Kilda. Evacuated on 29 August 1930 after the remaining 36 islanders voted to leave as their way of life was no longer sustainable. This Is My GlasgowA wee trip out of the city today to climb Ben Lawers, the tenth highest mountain in Scotland. The summit was clear, but it was surrounded by a sea of clouds with other peaks rising like islands around it. This was the neighbouring Beinn Ghlas, with a fellow climber just visible at the top.
