Stefano Marinelli
After the article from The Atlantic, I've seen a lot of misinformation circulating among journalists. I'm not getting into the political side of things, but many are focusing on the fact that Signal was used, claiming it's "not encrypted" or "not secure." 0x40k
Man, APT36 is pulling a sneaky one with that fake India Post site. 🙄 They're clearly aiming to snoop on Windows and Android users. Seriously, it's social engineering 101, and honestly, it's frustrating how many folks still get caught out by this stuff.

Working as a pentester, I see this kind of thing *all the time*. You know the saying, "Trust, but verify!"? It definitely applies here. Always, *always* double-check where you're downloading things from. And folks, *please* don't just blindly copy-paste PowerShell commands you find online! 🙅‍♂️ That's asking for trouble.

Make no mistake, these APT groups are a real threat. Why? Because they often manage to lurk undetected inside systems for *months* before anyone notices. Nasty stuff.

So, I'm curious: What are your favorite go-to tools or tricks for spotting phishing attempts? 🤔 Let me know below!

#APT36 #infosec #Phishing #Security
