What is the best movie or TV show that was set in the future but this future is now the past?
@kingu_platypus_gidora Probably 2001, a Space Odyssey. The original RoboCop is also a (different kind of) classic. I'm not sure if we're already past Blade Runner, but Roy Batty was born/activated last year.
As for TV shows, Mr. Robot is actually happenning in the past now.
